Palsaderm Buddy: Sonic Facial Brush Review

Hey Lovelies!

Skin care is very important, so that is why I am sharing this awesome product with you guys. Many of you have probably seen advertisements or own a large sonic face brush. This face brush, Pulsaderm Buddy, is half the size and still has the same amount of power. Pulsaderm is a line of skincare devices designed and assembled in the U.S that help enhance the health of skin with expertly engineered skin care solutions. I have been using this face brush every morning and evening and I love how it feels on my skin. My face feels really clean and smooth afterwards because of the Pulsaderm Buddy’s micropulses which clean deeply to get rid of any dirt, makeup, or oil. Its concave-shaped bristles allow the brush to reach all parts of my face that are difficult to reach, so it is a perfect tool to wash my face with. I also love how small it is; it fits in the palm of my hand and it’s really cute! Its convenient size allows me to take it on vacation with me and fit it into a travel-sized bag. When I first received my package I was pleasantly surprised that the Pulsaderm Buddy came in a cute silver travel-sized makeup bag. It also came with batteries (but the face brush has a super long battery life) as well as two replaceable brush heads. Another great thing about this facial cleansing tool is that it’s also a beauty tool. One of the replaceable brush heads sold on their website is actually a makeup sponge brush made for applying foundation; which is really cool and useful!

The White Eyeliner Trick

There are many tricks to making your eyes appear larger, and using white eyeliner to enhance your eyes is one of them. I have watched many beauty gurus on YouTube talk about the benefits of white eyeliner, so I decided to try it out. Besides lining the waterline, there are other makeup tricks with this liner as well. You can trace the inner “V” corner of your eyes, under the eyebrow, and above the cupid’s bow to brighten up those areas. Make sure to blend the white color properly when applying it to the skin.

As you can see from the picture below; my right eye looks bigger because of the white eyeliner on my waterline.

For a bold look that can be seen on runways, trace your whole eye, wing out the liner, or blend the liner into the crease of your eye.

What do you think of this makeup look?

Time Saving Fashion Tips

I love to sleep as much as possible, a girl has to have her beauty sleep right? I try to save myself time in the morning with these tips so that I can get out my door in half an hour.

1) Pick out your outfit the night before. You might even want to try on the outfit the night before to make sure you like how it looks. You don’t want to put on the outfit in the morning only to spend an extra seven minutes picking out a new outfit.

2) Decide if you will wear makeup that day the night before. This may sound silly, but mentally telling yourself if you will or put on makeup the night before will save you any time that you would have spent contemplating if you should apply makeup or not.

3) If it is necessary, straighten your hair the night before instead of in the morning. Curling your hair the night before is debatable because curls will often loose their bounciness overnight, however straight hair usually remains straight the next morning.

4) Shower the night before. If you can stand not taking a ten minute shower to wake yourself up in the morning then opt for a shower before you go to bed.

5) Know what the weather will be the entire week so that you can choose your outfits based on the forecast.

6) Organize your closet. Divide your closet by putting the pants, skirts, and tights in one area, shirts in the other, and so on. This way, you will find it much easier and much faster to find where certain pieces of clothing are located.

The Revolutionary Hair Curler

Hello lovelies!

I have recently been sent an amazing rotating clipless curler called KISS InstaWave. This product is revolutionary!  All you do is put it next to your hair, press a button, and it begins to wrap your hair around the iron by itself. Sounds crazy right? This curler makes everything so much easier and faster!  It is easy for anyone to use, from any angle, with any hand. It is also a fully automatic tangle-free curler because the wide set teeth won’t allow your hair to tangle. This curler is actually all that it claims to be. When I was first applying to review this tool I was skeptical, but when I actually used the tool I realized that it is awesome. I am being one hundred percent honest when I say that if you are going to invest money in any curling iron, you should get this one.

First things first. The curler resembles your regular curler except this curler has teeth or small twisting tools which are the magic behind all of InstaWave’s greatness. Since this is not your typical curler, KISS InstaWave is kind enough to provide you with a very thorough set of instructions. And InstaWave features a curl dial with left/right curl directions. Here are step by step instructions on how to use the curler:

1. There are two heat settings with a low/high switch with maximum temperature of 420. I set mine to high.

2. Hold InstaWave vertically next to your hair.

3. Simply place a section of your hair on the InstaWave curling rod. Then touch the Curl Dial either left or right, and the InstaWave instantly and automatically catches and curls the hair. Hold for 5-10 seconds, longer for tighter curls and less for beachy waves. Switch between curling right and curling left to create the most natural looking curls.

4. Pull the InstaWave down vertically, and it will easily let your hair out. Repeat this with the rest of your head, and just in case you forgot to turn InstaWave off, it shuts off by itself in 90 minutes! And there you have it folks, perfect curls!

You can purchase your own InstaWave here:

Also for those of you that noticed: I got a haircut! My hair used to be almost down to my belly button before!

I hope you liked my review and found it helpful!

Simple Eyeliner Tip

Instead of lining your entire eye, meaning both your upper and lower waterlines, or whatever you usually do, I suggest to  just outline the outer corner of your eye. The aim of this trick is to elongate and focus on your natural eye shape. This is just a look for when you don’t have time to do your regular liner, because this is really quick and easy to do. This will probably look more neat if you just do it with brown liner, but if you want to go for black liner, it could look great as well.

Here is how (please excuse my poor drawing) :

This is how it will look:

My Step by Step Hair Bun Tutorial

Ever since my hair grew past my shoulders I have been tying my hair up in a bun. A bun is an easy and fun way to get the hair up and out of your face. Here are two of my favorite buns that I sport at least twice a week to school. I am not sure if this works on all types of hair, but I know that you should have long and thick-ish hair 🙂 This is my first tutorial of anything, so let me know if you want me to do any more tutorials! Please also ask if you are confused about a step!

Messy High Bun

step 1) Bring all of your hair into a high ponytail, bumps don’t really matter since this is messy.

Step 1 prt2

step 2) Next, as you bring your hair through the hair binder, stop a little more then half way.

step 1

step 3:  Now twist the binder around the part where you stopped. You will have a very large loop, but don’t let go yet.

step 2

step 4) The hair binder is now on your hand, so pull it over your hand and the bun itself, while also stuffing the outside remains into the binder and big bun.

Step 4

step 5) You should have one short strand stuck outside of the big bun. Take the strand and pull it around the bun to make the bun tighter and more pulled together. Then tuck it into the binder, so you can’t see it anymore.

Step 5

step 6) Take any left over strands and tuck them into the big bun. If your bun is really loose, then you can take another hair binder and tie it around your bun twice.

Step 6

The final product should look something like this:

Sophisticated High Bun:

step 1) Tie your hair into a high ponytail.

Step 1 prt2

step 2) Flip your ponytail over to one side of your head and put your finger in between the stem(where the binder is) and the ponytail.

Step 2 prt2

Step 3: Begin to wrap the hair around your finger. It will basically look like a doughnut bun but without the doughnut. If using a finger is not helping you, like I intended it to, you may remove your finger, and just try wrapping your hair around with out it.

Step 3 prt 2

step 4) once you have wrapped all the hair around, take a second hair binder and tie it around the bun with one hand, while still holding the bun with the other hand.

Step 4 prt.2

step 6: secure the bun with pins and clips if needed, and add hair gel or hair spray to prevent any fly-aways; you want this to look slick!

Final prt 2

The final product should look like this:

My Beauty Secrets

These are things that I personally do to keep myself looking healthy and nice, so I decided to share some of these beauty secrets with you:

1) Wash your face with a good face wash meant for your type of skin. For example, I have skin that breaks out once in a while and is oily around the T-Zone. I prefer Neutrogena-Acne-Stress-Control-Power-Wash out of all of the other face washes I have tried. This one actually reduced the little acne that I have and makes a good face scrub and exfoliator as well.

2) I always stress to MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE!! An oil-free, good moisturizer actually makes a big difference in your skin, especially if you use it before makeup. It makes your face soft, hydrates it, and your skin will love you for it. 🙂

3) If you use foundation then opt for a BB Cream instead! BB Creams are actually beneficial for your skin because they hydrate and even out your skin tone, contain SPF, moisturize your skin, have anti-aging ingredients, and many other good ingredients that regular foundation does not contain.

4) Treat your face kindly. Your facial appearance is important so treat your face with respect! Don’t pull or tug on your eyes, as you may cause premature wrinkles and what-not. Also don’t pile on the foundation, (or at least don’t wear it often) your skin needs to breathe!

5) Most of us wear mascara, so having moisturized and nourished eyelashes is important! You may think me weird for doing this, but every night I apply Vaseline or olive oil to my lashes. They both are really good for your lashes. I just take my finger and dip it into a tiny bit of olive oil or Vaseline and just smooth it onto my lashes. The Vaseline or olive oil actually softens, hydrates, and moisturizes your lashes.

6) Olive oil is an overall good beauty product, but did you know it removes makeup? So whenever you are out of makeup just find your olive oil and remove! It comes off perfectly!

7) Yes Neosporin is greasy, however if you apply it to just one pimple it actually reduces it in size. Neosporin gets rid of bacteria therefore a little amount of it is good to apply to a pimple area.
