NYC Fashion Week Street Style

I love NYC, because people there tend to follow their own trend, and dress how they feel. There are so many amazing outfits that were captured on camera; I can only post a few out of hundreds. Everyone on the streets of NYC  rocks their own style mixing new and vintage pieces, transforming accessories, and wearing their favorite fashion trends.

Check out all of these chic looks off the runway! I wish I could dress like this…

I love you New York!! Hope to visit soon!

Thanks for reading loves!

NY Fashion Week- Favorite Looks

Ladies and gentleman, I am so excited to share with you my thoughts on some of these amazing looks from New York Fashion Week! I am so jealous of everyone who lives in New York right now, because they all probably got at least a little bit of a taste of Fashion Week. After spending, a lot of time let’s just say, assessing and noting my thoughts on these pieces of art, I narrowed the looks I love down to thirteen.

Stripes. If I could, I would wear stripes everyday, so I love the designers that decided to focus their looks on stripes. Lets take a look at some of these striped pieces. These are clothes that people can actually wear in real life, not just on the runway. My favorite dress that came down the runway was Marc Jacobs, the optic dress looked amazing on the model. The little purse or clutch that went with it was even striped linear too, I would have loved to own that whole outfit! The second look, again by Marc Jacobs, I think was badly styled, with the blond hair and black underwear, but I am in love with the graphic shirt. The third outfit, by Tommy Hilfiger is adorable! It’s inspired by sailor and tennis outfits. Gotta love those sunglasses!

All White. All white suites and dresses are totally in style now, so I really love the following looks. The suit the model below is wearing, by Calvin Klein,  is really structured, and would look amazing on most people. The flowing white dress, by DKNY, is so pretty! I’ts so simple and yet even though it is completely white, it could never be a wedding dress in my eyes. It is for a girl that is going to a fancy party by the ocean.

Lace. Vera Wang’s head to toe gold lace dress is to die for. The beautiful details on the dress are truly admirable. The gown is the painting and the model is the frame. Marchesa’s silver lace detailed gown is also gorgeous and is fit for a princess.

Colorful Outfits. The tomato red dress, by Narcisco Rodriguez, as you see below, is not an average dress. If I could, I would actually wear it. I find it very appealing and chic. Its sex appeal sneaks its way into the dress by covering the model’s chest and and flaunting a sliver of her flat stomach. The designer’s choice of color was very clever, because it totally stands out! I am loving this super cute color blocked outfit by Rodarte. The outfit brought me back to my happy summer days that depicted me laying on my lawn’s bright green grass and starring at the blue sky covered with clouds. 🙂

Geometric shaped outfits. Take a peek at these last looks. Takes your breath away doesn’t it? Now we switch gears to the sexier side of the shows. Rodarte’s geometric dress reminds me of one of my paper “snowflakes” that I made out of black paper. The dress is so creative and cool. The next dress by Calvin Klein is awesome. Need I say more? Oscar De La Renta’s sparkly glammed up princess dress is a stunner. It must have been amazing to see the unique gown walk down the runway. My last favorite look is also by Oscar De La Renta. I am a big fan of jump suits so I was so delighted to find that ODLR chose to create a jumpsuit for their show. Harpersbazaar noted that, “for every voluminous skirt that begged for Betty Draper, there was one that called for Marilyn” (

Valentines Day Outfit/Makeup Ideas

Hi ladies!

Thursday is already Valentines Day, and I just wanted to make sure that you look as lovely as you are on this special day!

I will start with hair and makeup and then transition into clothing.

Look enchanting and pretty with your favorite red or pink lipstick. Moisturize your lips first, then apply the lipstick, and finish with a coat of gloss. (:

For valentines day I always picture long lashes, red lipstick and pink blush.

As for hair, I would opt for a romantic hair style like loose curls or a curly/messy bun.

Valentines Day inspired outfits! ❤

I really favor the colors white and pink for this day because they are just worm and loving colors; people will simply be drawn towards you.

If you want to wear for something more edgy, then try to  incorporate the color red or a deep berry into your outfit. You could match black with the red, but I would opt for white or dark blue.

pink wedges

We must not forget the shoes! If you are going somewhere nice for a dinner, then show of those pink or red heels you have been so hesitant about wearing! Or if you are going somewhere more casual and heels aren’t your thing, then rock those red converse!

Pink, flowers, pearls, and audrey hepburn = love!

If you don’t want to wear pink or even red at all then you can always go for the all white look. Like a white dress, or a white suit. It’s a timeless look and you can never go wrong with white! Just remember to wear that red lipstick!!

Lace is the most romantic fabric in the market right now, therefore, if you are a fan, you must wear it!

And don’t forget to finish off your whole look with heart studs and cute nails!

I hope you have a wonderful Valentines Day and share it with people you adore (:

Dress Like A Princess

Hi ladies!

I am sorry for not posting for a while, I was really busy! 😦

Everybody girl has a favorite princess, and luckily you can dress like her too!  And no, I do not mean that you should go look for a mermaid tail or glass slippers but you can wear clothes inspired by her! On Polyvore I created 4 sets inspired by my four favorite princesses, Jasmine, Ariel, Cinderella, and Pocahontas.

The set above is inspired by Cinderella! Incorporate blues, silvers, and pinks into your outfit for the “Cinderella” look. Don’t forget some cute silver heels!

To dress like  Jasmine, wear the colors; baby blue, purple, and gold. I love the combination of the floral shirt with chunky gold jewelry.   For makeup, try wearing a little liquid eyeliner or purple colored lipstick.

I went a little bit wild with this one because I absolutely love the style that you can incorporate into a Pocahontas inspired outfit! Tribal prints, nude colors, and reds and blues are her thing. You can wear feathered earrings with a tribal skirt, dress, scarf, or shirt. Go for artsy rings and necklaces. And be bold with red lipstick!

Ariel! Wear pretty purples and sea foam greens. (Seashell or starfish earrings won’t make anybody suspicious that you are trying to dress like your favorite princess…) The purple and green is enough in one outfit so  wear your nude heels or flats for shoes. Then finish off your look with red or bright pink lipstick!

Which princess modern day look would you wear? Please comment below 🙂
