Square Neckline Dresses

20 Oct

A square neckline dress reveals just the right amount of skin and makes you look fabulous! This type of neckline cut is my favorite on dresses right now. It enhances your assets and elongates your neck. I recommend a push up bra ;). Pair your dress with a waist clenching belt and pointed heels. Which dress is your favorite from the pictures below?

Here are some pictures to inspire you:

Keira Knightley

15 Oct

Keira Knightly is a beauty to look at. Her features are so unique and pretty. When she goes out, she only wears a little mascara, which I admire. Not only is Keira beautiful, she is also smart, strong, and has a wonderful spirit. When Keira was young, she never really had an interest in fashion. However, as she grew and matured, she seemed to discover her personal style. Keira Knightley wears chic and vintage clothing or she rocks the tomboy style.

It was very exciting for all of us Keira Knighley fans when we found out that Keira gets to do another Vogue shoot! But this one was especially magical. From the haute couture to knitted veils this shoot was absolutely stunning.

Keira transformed into her character, Anna Karenina, reflecting the movie’s 19th century vibe. Keira said that, “coming onto the shoot, the hair is different, the makeup is different, but it’s a different way of seeing her.” I LOVED the hair! It was very out of this world and cool. Okay now I want to discuss Keira’s white feathered couture gown. I think it definitely rings some wedding bells. 😉 The feathers were a really beautiful detail on the dress. The blue background looks so enchanting with the fair color of her dress.

Keira poses in a red coat dress. I like the edginess that the medal belt brings to the outfit, but I wish she had black heels on instead. I’m not completely sure what is on top of her head, but the weirdness of it just goes and is very interesting to look at. Although I like the way Keira is modeling the rich colored coat, I think it makes her waist looks to small. This hourglass figure is not very flattering…

Keira is dressed in a timeless black velvet column gown with embellished neckline by Armani Privé. The picture looks like a creepy abstract painting. Keira Knightly’s pose is strikingly strange yet stunning.

Keira wears a blue and rose pink floral embroidered peplum top over cigarette pants. This is a past-meets-present take on evening dressing. It’s funny how floral is usually a very chic and happy print but with the black pants and creepy black hat it created a very odd effect.

Keira wears a midnight blue gown that is silk brocade embroidered with a William Morris Tree of Life–inspired motif. I love this gorgeous color that compliments Keira’s pale skin and practically glows with beauty.

Keira wears some of the creatively designed costumes for the shoot. The hat is a master piece, it looks like a blooming flower complementing a pretty violet dress. Jacqueline Durran should really be applauded on her beautiful designs.

I hope you enjoyed this post!!:D Please let me know what you think in the comments!

Slippers or Shoes?

11 Oct

Hi Readers!

Sorry for the late post! I will be posting a new one over the weekend hopefully too!

Enjoy 🙂

I think many of you know what I am talking about. Maybe it’s just where I live that people are very laid back and lazy about what they wear. I mean one time I saw a girl walk to the store in pajamas! Come on! Leave the pajamas at home guys!! And please, the slippers too. It is a known fact that you can be comfy but at the same time still fashionable. But I am not getting into clothes today I want to discuss shoes. I was at the mall about a week ago and I noticed a girl walking around in blue fuzzy/crazy slippers. Really?! Why is it so hard to wear normal shoes guys? I wear boots all winter long and I am very happy and comfy in them, while other girls wear slippers or Uggs all winter long and also are very comfy. Obviously, I am happy you are comfy, but slippers are meant for home! Shoes that are meant to be worn outside are just as comfy but way more stylish and cute!! Lets look at what I mean.

Stylish black boots vs Ugly black slippers. What would you wear? 😉

The shoes on the right are a lot nicer and prettier for going out. Their shapes are similar but the shoes on the right are too slipper like and “Pocahontas” for me.

Again you can wear a shoe much more pretty and flattering then a Ugg slipper. Show some fashion sense people! If you are concerned about cold weather then wear a leather boot!

Thank you so much for reading!

I am very happy to say that I have 90 followers now!!! So thank you so much for reading and following! It means a lot 🙂

Is Camel the new Black?

6 Oct

Camel is one of the trendiest colors for fall and winter. If I could I would buy myself all of the following:

A camel trench or coat, camel trousers, camel shoes, camel bag, camel sweatshirt, camel pants, camel blazer, camel dress, and camel pencil skirt. I think that’s everything! 😉

Why is camel considered the new black? One, Camel goes with EVERYTHING! Two, camel is classy and chick. Three, camel can be worn to any occation. Wear it to work or school. Wear it to a party. Wear it in the cold. Where it even when its warm! Camel, my friends, is a fashion miracle, like black.

Camel has been seen on many fall and winter runways. How do people wear camel clothes and how do designers like Micheal Kors and Sarah McCartney style it?

In the winter warm yourself with a camel trench/coat. Make the outfit casual by simply pairing the coat with black leggings or pants. You can make the outfit pop with red jeans and some cool lace up boots or something.  Or, wear your camel coat or blazer with black trousers. Speaking of trousers, wear your camel trousers with a cute white shirt or black shirt. I’m all for a cute black turtle neck sweatshirt. I would add a red or brown bag and dark camel colored shoes. Layer your outfit with a cute necklace. Fancy it up with a pretty camel dress, that you can wear a black blazer with.

Remember that the colors that go best with camel are red, black, brown, nude, green, and white. Mix and match with prints! Micheal Kors said that prints go very well with rich fall colors. So wear a pretty floral or cheetah shirt with your camel skirt or pants for example.
